TAP Edge, formerly known as EDGEsport Philippines from 2018 to 2020, is a 24-hour Philippine pay television channel owned by TAP Digital Media Ventures Corporation. The channel focuses on a variety of entertainment genres, primarily action/suspense and crime dramas. It was launched on February 1, 2018, as EDGEsport Philippines through Sky Cable, marking the first cable channel of TAP DMV. The channel was established through a joint venture/brand licensing agreement with IMG, a U.S.-based global media company, to bring EDGEsport programming to the Philippines. On February 17, 2020, as part of TAP DMV's restructuring, EDGEsport was relaunched as TAP Edge. By November 15, 2020, the channel began transitioning to reformat as an action/drama-oriented entertainment channel, with EDGEsport and other action sports programming concluding its broadcasts in December 2020. TAP Edge's programming currently features canned programming with distribution/output arrangements from Comcast (NBCUniversal, Peacock, and Sky UK), ITV Studios, and others. Its lineup includes news, current affairs/newsmagazines, action and suspense dramas, crime dramas, reality shows, sports reality, and movies. The channel is headquartered in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, and broadcasts nationwide in English, with a picture format of 480i SDTV.
